Bassist, Neal Miner is not
only one of the most sought
after accompanists in jazz today,
but also a fine artist and interpreter
of music in that idiom. His
compositions and improvisations
are appreciated by all who listen.
Having performed and recorded
with a list of jazz greats including
James Moody, Jon Hendricks,
Annie Ross, and Ann Hampton
Calloway, touring regularly
with the Loston Harris Trio,
he is also one of the "prime
movers" in the ongoing
experiments which take place
nightly at Smalls in NYC's Greenwich
Village. A bulwark of the Juniper
Records family, he has completed
his first CD release as a leader,
The
Real Neal which is available
on this website.
